FAQs

  • Based off a few things, here's what you need to ask yourself:
    1) Does your dog do well around others, because temperament is non-negotiable. Before accepting any new dogs, I require a meet and greet to get a feel for this. Intact males/females will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
    2) Can your dog recall well off verbal and/or E-collar? I will be using garmin gps collars with the ability to have an audible tone sent to the collar for recall. Verbal recall will be used first, but in the event the dog is out of earshot, an audible tone to the collar will be used. My dog picked up on this very quickly.
    3) How long do you normally hike/walk your dog? With the nature of these adventures, dogs will need to be able to hike at least 2 miles. I aim for at least 2-3 hours of hiking per day with the pack.

  • Treks will be once per day, with pickups starting between 7-8am, and returns around 12-1pm, depending on hike location/pickup locations for the day. These times will be communicated the day before your scheduled hike, based on pickup /drop off routes.

Dogs will be transported in my car, with plenty of room for multiple dogs. As well as a barrier separating them from me, so I can focus on driving. Expect your dog to be gone for around 3-5 hours, depending on pick up order. Dogs will hike for 2-3 hours.

I use Time to Pet for communications, pictures, report cards and client/dog information management.

They get to play while you work, and you get to return to a mentally and physically tired pup!

  • Time to Pet is a website AND app for pet businesses and their clients! You can manage pet info, payment info, invoices, get report cards, pictures and more right from your phone or computer! This will be the main avenue for communications, scheduling and more for the treks!
