2 weeks ago I accepted a job at a barn i worked at part time from 2018 to 2019. They didn’t have a full time position open at the time, that didn’t have to travel to shows with them. I was thrilled when the full time barn hand position opened up, as I wouldn’t have to travel! Leaving my desk job for a physical and dirty job, but able to be around horses all day long! I think it’ll help get me closer to doing what I love. While I’m not exactly sure what I want to do as a career, working with horses is a passion that I’ve had for a long time. In August (pending me renting out my 2nd bedroom), I’m also going to be starting an online program (with a 6 day in person intensive practicum) for equine bodywork, massage and accupressure! I am thrilled, as it is legal to practice in Montana!
And today I started. Man, I am glad I get 2 days off to recoup before a 5 day stretch ๐ .
