We woke up to an inch of snow Sunday, but Monday it felt like spring! Chilly…but sunny, fresh and no clouds to be seen. With spring comes pollen and flowers. Who likes to enjoy the outdoors? I know I do! 2nd hike of the season is coming up today and while I haven’t had any issues yet, I like to be prepared.
This combo of oils is a lifesaver this time of year. I like to use it in a roller but you can also diffuse around the house (diffusing I use 2 drops each).
First, grab a roller! I love using 5ml rollers (My favorite place to get bottles is: https://www.bestbottles.com and https://www.myoilyhabit.com), and I make my own labels with my Cricut.
Then, you need your oils. I use 5 drops each of lemon, lavender and peppermint in a 5ml bottle.
Last, you need a carrier oil. Sweet almond is my go to, amazon has the best price for a bottle! Fill the bottle the rest of the way with your carrier and roll away!
*Lemon essential oil is photosensitive. So use caution when applying before going out into the sun. I apply to the bottom of my feet or on an area that will be covered by clothing. Photosensitive oils can cause burning or darkened spots on your skin after exposure to uv rays.*
